The3Engineers have formed a new partnership with SSERC who run the STEM Ambassador hub in Scotland. SSERC offers a broad portfolio of services, principally in support of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) areas of the curriculum, which are not available from any other sources. With over 6,000 STEM ambassador volunteers and 5,000 Young STEM Leaders working across 32 Scottish local authorities we are absolutely thrilled to form this partnership.

The3Engineers will look to distribute books into schools in Scotland and create a huge range of resources for teachers to use, meaning we can make a significant impact with our book series called ‘The Adventures of Scout’ and our first book ‘STOP DROPPING LITTER’.

Super exciting times ahead!

We are extremely excited to announce our 1st partnership with Helping Hand Environmental – The world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of sustainable litter pickers, based in Herefordshire.

Helping Hand (est 1965) have formed many partnerships with local authorities, community lead projects, high street retailers and many non profit organisations & charities such as: Eco-Schools - Keep Britain Tidy, SEA SHEPHERDS and Big Blue Ocean Cleanup to promote a cleaner environment. We are very proud to join such a collective.

Their divisional team love our plastic book, which encourages people to pick up litter and will help raise awareness of our project, books and campaigns going forward – we thank #TeamHHE and look forward to working in partnership together.

If you want to join Scout’s team and become a litter hero, you can either contact your local council and apply to loan some picker equipment, or you can use the discount code below to purchase your very own pickers. Together, by taking small positive action we can reduce the plastic problem.

The3Engineers have been inspired by a number of like-minded individuals and companies who are passionate about dealing with the world’s plastic problem; with many perfectly aligning to our first book called:
STOP DROPPING LITTER

Therefore, we are super excited to announce that we have partnered with 100 tons of plastic project who have a target to pick up 100 Tonnes of waste from the oceans. What a great initiative.

We hope our partnership will inspire, educate and encourage others to take action by picking up litter. We also understand the importance of their 100 Tonnes challenge and what they are trying to achieve. Being engineers, the use of statistics and recognisable SI units (kg) to showcase the amount of plastic being removed on either daily/monthly/annually, is a crucial step towards changing legislation or laws in the future. Therefore, if you want to support and be a litter hero don’t forget to:

Pick it - Weight it - Tag it @100TonnesofPlastic & @Stop_Dropping_Litter

So why not visit their website (100 tons of plastic), see what they are up to and donate! With your help, their team can continue to make a positive impact.

We are excited and proud to from a new partnership with ‘Nifty Bins’ who are on a mission to sort waste out at the source. Stephen the Founder has spent his entire life at festivals studying people’s habits and behaviours and one of the major issues he has found is material contamination, which prevents effective waste management and recycling to take place. But Nifty bins have a solution; to be Bold, be Obvious, be Clean, be Portable and be Universal; by incorporating shape and colour to their bins for people to easily sort their waste.

The3Engineers and Nifty Bins are on a mission to engage children in schools to firstly understand the problem of dropping litter but to educate around the waste management cycle.

Please check out their website for more information and if you are running an event and want a proven, government backed scheme to better manage your waste disposal please get in touch through their website:
